Marks & Spencer is known for its iconic Christmas food offerings, and fans can't wait to see what they have in store every year. This year they have already impressed with new items such as the Original Peanut Butter & Jelly Munch, the viral Gingerbread & White Chocolate Cookies, and returning favourites such as Peppermint Bark, Pistachio Gnomes and Milk Chocolate & Cinnamon Tortilla Rolls.

And now one more item has been added to the mix that has got M&S fans talking - the Big Mix tin. Every year families around the UK buy their favourite tins filled with the nation's favourite chocolate - whether it be Quality Street, Cadbury Heroes, Celebrations, or even Lindt.

And now M&S is throwing its hat in the ring. Online content creator Darcie Ratcliff recently managed to get her hand on a box and shared her thoughts online. In a TikTok video, Darcie tried what she called "M&S' version of Quality street" - and she was left seriously impressed by some of the flavours - including one that "surprised" her.

In the caption of the video, she wrote: "This tin costs £12 but it’s SUCH a treat! I'll definitely be buying another to have over Christmas." Showing off the tin, she excitedly revealed the tin weighs 1.2kg. In comparison, the £12 Quality Street tin from Tesco currently costs £12, and is 750g.

Darcie explained there are 10 flavours inside the tin, and tried the green one first, which is biscuit and caramel. "Oh wow, that is runny. I love runny caramel in chocolate," she said. Darcie said it reminded her of an "elevated Munchie", and that it was "very sweet," but she was disappointed that the biscuit was "soft, not crunchy," rating it an eight out of 10.

Next she tried the blue wrapper, which is a milk cream. Darcie said: "That is stunning. It's like a Milky Bar mousse. It's so tasty. I absolutely loved that." She went on to rate it an epic nine out of 10.

Darcie then tried the orange cream, which she was a bit sceptical to as she doesn't usually like the Quality Street version. As she expected, she didn't like it, and it reminded her of medicine she had as a child, giving it a one out of 10.

She then picked up another blue one with silver spots, which is caramel fudge in smooth milk chocolate. Darcie said: "That's really good. I actually prefer that to the Quality Street fudge. That's delicious," rating it a seven out of 10.

Then she tried the red one, which is salted caramel. After having a bite, she simply said: "Yes. I love salted caramel so the flavour of this, the fact that it's actually salty, really good," and rated it a solid nine out of 10.

The purple one is hazelnut and caramel flavoured, which she said was "tasty", but she wasn't getting much hazelnut flavour, so rated it a six out of 10. Next she tried a gold coloured wrapper, which is a caramel toffee. Darcie said: "It was a lovely toffee, probably slightly nicer than the one from Quality Street," but rated it a five out of 10 because she's "too impatient" to eat toffee in general.

She also tried the pink strawberry cream one, but again, didn't like it because she doesn't like the Quality Street version. However, she was very excited to try the yellow wrapper, which is a butterscotch eclair. She said: "That toffee was a lot softer, so I actually enjoyed it. You do actually get the butterscotch flavour, that surprised me," and rated it a six out of 10.

Lastly, she tried a shiny, light pink-wrapped chocolate, which is milk chocolate with a coffee flavour truffle. She wasn't blown away by it, but she admitted she doesn't "love when chocolate mixes with coffee". However, since it wasn't the strongest flavour she would eat it, giving it a five out of 10.

Many fans were impressed by the box, with one person saying: "Strawberry cream is my favourite." Another commented: "Love them. All the flavours are nice." However, not everyone was a fan, with one person commenting: "We bought the box version to try them. We wanted to love them but they were EXTREMELY sweet and we were not fans."
